In Part II of SWELL’s exclusive three-part, behind the scenes series, we hear Pepper discussing the grind of releasing album after album and playing show after show, only to feel drained and uninspired. After a three year break, the band came back feeling more creative and more inspired than ever and they say that’s apparent on their new, self-titled album. Whether it’s John Bonham-esque drums, crisper sounds or just a more focused approach, this new album illustrates a noticeable growth in Pepper’s musical career.
